Private Party

This was an awesome 4th of July party held by Charles & Melissa. Though the weather was not going to be too cooperative, the party must go on. And it did!

 

After deciding to setup inside rather than out, it started to pour. With the way the winds were blowing we would have been soaked outside under the shed. This worked out perfect. Everyone brought the party inside the barn. We started approx. 6:45pm and played 3 sets. We broke near our 3rd set for the fireworks. Playing in front of hay bales and bags of limestone, we had a classic country jam in the barn. Dwayne went through 3 guitars. He broke several stings on each. While Dwayne was changing out strings John, Joey & Gregg put on a little jam improv to keep things moving along. Just enjoying himself way too much I guess.

 

The crowd was GREAT! This was a lot of fun for everyone. Good people, good food, good drinks and of course good music d8-{D It wound up raining all night. At a few points it did stop briefly and thats when the fireworks began-literally! Charles & Melissa put on a show. It was great! As a matter of face there was a neighbor competing with them. They would blow off a set and then the neighbor would. Back and forth. Alot of fun! The crowd loved it.

 

 

We had music going the whole night. When we weren't playing we had the IPod cranking songs to keep the party going. The Roof was raised and the house did come down. We thank Charles & Melissa for choosing us to be there entertainment for their special party. We appreciate it and hope to do it again sometime...
