Q. What style of music do you play?

A. The Contractors Band plays a wide variety of music from yesterday & today; just have a look at our Setlist!
We play music from the 70's to the 90's and today's hits, but we especially love to keep people dancing and having fun!

Q. Do I need to pick most of the songs for you to play at my special Event/Affair?

A. No! You can trust our judgement to choose songs or you can browse our setlist and suggest what you would
like to be played. Either way is fine. It is YOUR party! What we typically recommend is that you take our setlist
and give us the names of a few songs you MUST have done, as well as a few songs you absolutely DO NOT wish
to be done. Remember though, that while you may not like a certain song, there may be many people that will
absolutely enjoy it and dance to it. We will always do what's best to please our clients! We also have a form on
our setlist page for you to make song requests. We will do the best we can to get down a song of your choosing
to the best of our ability. You can also contact us regarding this through email or phone.

Q. Have The Contractors Band played many Events/Affairs?

A. Yes! We have played Fundraisers, School graduations, Fire Dept. Anniversaries and more. Check our
testimonials page for some comments we received from those who hired us for their special Event/Affair.

Q. How long do you typically play for?

A. Our standard playing time is four hours, but additional time can be arranged usually with no problem.

Q. What happens when the band takes a break? I don't want my party to stop!

A. Depending if a venue or private Event/Affair, we can provide the appropriate music for all breaks with CDs
to keep your event flowing. The party doesn't need to stop!

Q. I'm concerned about the volume of the band. How can we be sure that it won't be too loud?

A. We are Professionals and will make any adjustments to keep the volume just right. That's all part of setting
up early and being prepared. As we are playing, we will monitor the crowd to make sure everyone is enjoying
themselves and that the dance floor has a good feel and volume. We feel that everyone at a party should be
enjoying themselves whether they are on the dance floor or not.

Q. How much will it cost to have The Contractors Band play at my Club/Affair/Event?

A. The Contractors Band IS the most competitively priced band available! And we are proud to offer our services
at a very affordable price. Distance, duration and time of year can be a slight factor in determining an accurate

Q. Is it possible to see the band before I book for a(n) Club/Affair/Event?

A. YES! We would rather you do so. The Contractors Band plays somewhere almost every month at different
venues unless we are taking time to work on new material or just vacationing d:-{) Check out Upcoming Shows...

Q. What time does the band arrive to set up prior to the function?

A. Our typical arrival time is about 90 minutes before the band's scheduled start time. If your Affair/Event requires
that the band set up early, (more than 90 minutes before the scheduled band starting time), please inform us as
soon as possible. We are professionals, but we still need to be prepared, so we ask to avoid last minute surprises
and/or changes if possible.

Q. How far will you travel for a show?

A. We will play the regional areas such as; Ct., Rhode Island, NYC and surrounding areas/boroughs, NJ and more.
We do not rule anything out. if you are somewhere else, contact us and inquire.

Q. I've decided that I want The Contractors as my band. What happens next?

A. Thanks for choosing The Contractors Band! We will now send you our Party Pack Portfolio with a contract that
clearly spells out the terms and conditions. Your deposit is due along with the signed agreement. The signed
agreement with deposit must be returned to the band within two weeks of the issue date.

Q. Do you have any other helpful hints or suggestions?

A. Yes. The tone of any party is usually set by the people throwing it. If you're dancing and having fun, your guests
will follow along and have fun too. While it's appropriate to spend time with your guests, don't forget to get out there
and party! It's your party-enjoy it!

At a seated Affair/Event: though volume is usually not an issue, always consider your guests. Older guests do not
enjoy being seated near the band. It is best to seat the younger guests and the partying crowd close to the band.

Q. Are gratuities the standard for a Private Affair/Event?

A. Gratuities are never expected for private affairs or events but always appreciated if you feel inclined to do so.

Q. How long does shipping take if I make a purchase from your online store?

A. Shipping is usually very quick. You should receive your items with standard delivery within 5-7 business days
but there's always that chance it could run a little longer. Items DO NOT come directly from us so we have no
control over the shipping but they are usually very good.

Q. Does the band have a demo/promo package?

A. Yes! We have a 5 song demo CD that will be sent to you as part of what we call our, "Party Pack Portfolio."
This will contain our history, bio's, demo and more... We will be working on a Video sometime later this year as
well. We want you to be well informed. If there is anything else you need to know you can always contact us
at anytime.

Q. Does the band always use the lighting system?

A. It depends on the venue, current lighting and factors like this. Most people certainly like the party atmosphere
the lighting creates so we will use it as much as we can. Just tell us you want some POWER & LIGHTING!
